Hotel Aquarius Venice - Ascend Collection, Venice

The hotel occupies a 17th-century Venetian palace and offers spacious family rooms, suites, and apartments with high ceilings and artistic interior design. Rooms feature handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers and local Venetian artwork, with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. The apartments include a kitchenette and separate living area, serving families of up to four guests.

The extensive breakfast buffet includes continental, Italian, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, served in an elegant dining room with painted ceilings. Guests can also order breakfast in the room or enjoy drinks at the on-site bar and lounge area. The courtyard garden houses a separate bar building where guests can relax with a drink in the evening.

The hotel provides a private water door from a traditional Venetian canal, allowing direct water taxi drop-off less than one minute away. It is a 10-minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station and the San Stae vaporetto stop, and within 15 minutes of the Rialto Bridge and Basilica San Marco. The surrounding residential square offers restaurants, a Co-op supermarket, and a bakery, away from the main tourist crowds.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, concierge service for personalized transportation and local travel arrangements, and room service. A minimarket on site, a barber/beauty shop, and a phone battery rental service are available. The property includes a small gym with a bike, rower, and free weights up to 10 kg, plus free Wi-Fi throughout.

The serene courtyard garden provides a quiet outdoor seating area with a bar, often used for evening relaxation. During summer, a tango dance party takes place every Tuesday in the square outside the hotel, organized by locals. The lobby features dual aquariums designed to mirror the Venice lagoon, with fish species reflecting the local ecosystem.
